I saw this video a couple days ago and I keep coming back to it for the stats. Vox manages to show us the racial disparities in our criminal justice system in less than 2 minutes. I was particularly drawn to the racial gap in incarceration rates in the U.S. and the marijuana use rates (which are nearly identical) and the marijuana arrest rates (which aren’t at all).
