On your marks…

Isaiah has known that he wanted his birthday party to be a race for a solid year. And last weekend we finally got to say, “on your marks… get set… go!” Now that he is four, he gets to set the guest list and call the shots for his party. Here’s what it looked like…

I tried to rig it so Isaiah could win. It’s his birthday, after all. But there was no holding those big kids back. And thankfully Isaiah didn’t seem to mind.

Isaiah had VERY specific requests for a birthday cake. But he doesn’t actually like cake! He ate the frosting and there was more for the rest of us.

Brian, Nicole and Stella showed up with track suits and the whole nine yards!
